Managing Dubs

To change the configuration for a Dub:

  1. Go to the Dubs screen.
  2. Select the Dub you want to configure.
  3. Click Actions → Configure Dub.
  4. To update the snapshot schedule, go to the Snapshots section and choose the desired frequency.
  5. To control how clones can run, go to the Clones section and select one of the following options from the dropdown:
    • Server only
    • Docker only
    • Both
    • By default, the option "Upload observed queries in clones to Dubhub for analysis" is enabled. This sends SQL queries executed in the server clones to Baseshift for auditing and analysis. You can disable it if needed.
  6. To modify your data handling policies, go to the Policies section and update your subset policy or masking policy.
  7. When you're done, click Update Dub in the side panel.

In some cases, a restart will be required to apply changes. If so, a notification will appear.
