Creating a Dub

Baseshift supports two deployment options for creating a Dub. Choose the one that fits your needs:

You can also create a Dub using the Baseshift CLI. For instructions, see the CLI Guide.

  • Baseshift Cloud - Infrastructure is fully managed by Baseshift. Provide a read-only user to your source database and get started in under five minutes.

    note

    Baseshift Cloud currently supports only PostgreSQL Dubs. Support for additional databases is on the way.

  • Self-Hosted - Deploy the Baseshift connector and replication server within your own environment for full control over your data and infrastructure.
