Server Clones

Launching a Clone Through the Baseshift UI​

To launch a server clone, go to the Dub's screen:

Server Clones
  • select the Dub.
  • click the Launch Cloud Clone button.
  • A clone is now running on the replication server. Copy the connection string, connect to the clone, and start using it.

    Note: the password is temporary and randomly generated for each clone you launch.

  • When the clone is idle, it will automatically shut down.

Stopping a Clone Manually​

If you wish to stop the clone manually, go to the Clone Log screen:

  • Find the clone you want to stop.
  • Click the pause button in the Actions column.
